We are currently working on website solutions that will help bring the group out into the world wide web to help further expose our amazing talent to the rest of the internet. Once we have something put together we will be sure to announce it here, so stay tuned!

For the moment (probably through the holidays) we will stick with the month and a half deadline as it definitely seems to help people get stuff together. With our new topic, "The Movies," I am sure there are alot of ideas in people's heads, so I definitely want to give people plenty of time to get something in!

What we are:
We are a society of photographers, both digital and film, who want to express their love for the medium through the process of "what would happen if....." Packs will be issued and released each month with a different subject matter involved. Ideas for this will be accepted through notes and email.

TOPIC:
The Movies

Basically make a photo that draws on your favorite movies for inspiration. You MUST have the movie in your description and by all means, tell us a little about why you chose that movie, and why it inspires you.

It can be a reshoot of a certain frame from a movie, or just something very reminescent of the style of a movie. Either is just fine.

Instructions for submission:
Choose the best photo you have that best represents the subject. Upload it to your gallery with: "DP7 - Your photo name" as the title of the piece (IE: DP7 - diffuse22 or DP7 - systemaddikt). After you upload it send us a note with a link to it and we will put it in our favorites for the devpacks.

To join?
We are taking new members, but our selection will be alot tougher. To Join you should send your application with a devpack including 6-10 of your photos, any applications without a devpack will be ignored!

FAQ:
Q: I'm sorta new at this, can I still join?
A: Your more then welcome to try. Just because your new doesn't mean that you can't join. We are all here to learn and grow from the experiences. What we look for when you ask to join is something new and unique. A different view of something that we see every day.

Q: What about photo manipulations?
A: Nope. Changing brightness, contrast, hue/saturation, levels, modes and adding borders are allowed, but we don't want to see any photo manips in here. We are about our photography and not about our photoshop skills. If you have any questions on if you might have gone to far in photoshop, more then probably, you have then. If you have any questions on that, note *vert or ~ systemaddikt and ask them, they will tell you.

Q: How many photos can I submit for each idea?
A: One photo per topic please. If you submit more, we will only choose one for the megadev.

Q: What kind of commitment do I need to make?
A: We ask that you participate in every topic, but its not required. The more people that participate, the bigger and better our megadev will be, but we do understand the costs of film and developing, or just lack of time, so if you can not participate, don't worry, ~ drxud and *vert don't have the money to hunt you down and shoot you......yet.
